Project Description

Causeway Coast Cruise

A tour of the scenic Causeway Coast begins from the picturesque village of Portballintrae.

On the Causeway Coast Cruise we see Dunluce Castle, a beautiful ruin set on the coastal cliff best viewed from the sea.

Cruising past the popular White Rocks Beach where Kenneth Brannagh filmed scenes for Disney production Artemis Fowl, and on to Bushmills Bay and Runkerry House, an imposing listed sandstone building.

The highlight of the trip is the close up view of the Giants Causeway from the sea. As well as seeing the spectacle without the long arduous walk, we see parts which are inaccessible to other visitors.

This trip can be extended to take in Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and Ballintoy Harbour which served as scenes for Game of Thrones.

Continuing to Ballycastle you can avail of a comfort break and refreshments.

Finally we visit Kinbane Castle and Rathlin West Light house, an upside down lighthouse on Rathlin Island.

  • Tour min time: 2h
